Drawn by the allure of the Alhambra, many visitors head to Granada unsure what to expect. What they find is a gritty, compelling city where serene Islamic architecture and Arab-flavoured street life go hand in hand with monumental churches, old-school tapas bars and counterculture graffiti art.
The city, sprawled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, was the last stronghold of the Spanish Moors and their legacy lies all around: it’s in the horseshoe arches, the spicy aromas emanating from street stalls, the teterías (teahouses) of the Albayzín, the historic Arab quarter. Most spectacularly, of course, it’s in the Alhambra, an astonishing palace complex whose Islamic decor and landscaped gardens are without peer in Europe.
There’s also an energy to Granada’s streets, packed as they are with bars, student dives, bohemian cafes and intimate flamenco clubs, and it’s this as much as the more traditional sights that leaves a lasting impression. - Lonely Planet

Itinerary Highlights:
The Generalife & Alhambra: The Generalife is composed of a series of large gardens, where every corner holds a novelty and a pleasant surprise for the eyes, with a minimum of obtrusive buildings. A former palace and country estate built by the Muslim Conquerers who occupied parts of the Iberian peninsula from the 8th century onwards. It forms part of the conjunct of buildings which include the world-famous Alhambra.
Albaycin & Sacromonte: Abaycin is packed with hidden corners and squares, all connected by the whitewashed traditional buildings and steep cobbled streets. Walking through the narrow streets of the Moorish Albicin neighbourhood is like stepping back in time. The winding streets meander up and down the hill and are overlooked by the majestic Alhambra Palace offering fantastic views. It is one of the most interesting parts of Granada to explore. Each turn you take will provide a new view of Alhambra and another beautiful setting. The cave-studded neighbourhood of Sacromonte (“The Sacred Mount”) is spread out over the dusty, cacti-studded countryside high above Granada. This other-worldly barrio is home to many of Granada’s Gypsies, as well as artists, intellectuals and misfits from all over the world. Discover the story of this unique area.
Evening Tapas Tour & Drinks: We'll take a tapas tour for those who want to live the real Spanish atmosphere of bar crawling, eating small portions, standing while chatting and yet get to try the most representative local delicacies. This experience is exclusively designed with the traditional taverns and modern restaurants we partner with in order to squeeze the most enigmatic Spanish products (such as “jamón ibérico de bellota” Iberian cured ham, seafood, wine, and seasonal products) in one day.
Sierra Nevada Hike &: We'll walk in nature with great beauty where you will have to cross beautiful suspension bridges to discover what this special route hides, as well as its incredible views, waterfalls, natural rock pools, caves and narrow tunnels. This road will take you through some of the most spectacular landscapes of Andalusia.
Hanging Bridges of Velillos River: During our tour you will appreciate the beauty of the landscape from its four viewpoints, cross the Velillos River by the suspension bridge and the recently restored pedestrian walkway, visit Rock paintings near the Fountain Corcuela, or see the incomparable historical patrimony of Moclín, reflection of its strategic location and the importance of this area in the past, where the protagonists are, the Castle of Moclín, one of the best defensive structures of the Nazarí era and the Torres Vigías, strategically scattered in the highest points around the Castle.
